Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina continued her career by taking home bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in the year 2011, along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia began her professional career with her debut in 2003. She won at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she faced Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She took the title via TKO during the 2nd round, and was able to take home two subsequent bouts, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. It gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged absence of MMA. She came back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa through a unanimous decision, and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina accepted a UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina rebounded from the defeat by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's battle in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by rear naked choke. This was by far the most exciting fight of night for this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, and also defeated Ariane.
